As the release date for our DNX408 approaches, we wanted to release some pictures of Gerd doing some final set-up testing prior to a public test this weekend.

We received news from Team Durango Italy that the DEX410 dominated the first round of the 2010 Nationals series this weekend (28/03/2010).

Team Durango drivers took 4 of the top 10 places in the overall rankings after the 6 round series.

The series is the largest indoor series taking place in the UK over the winter months with 190+ drivers attending each meeting.

Team Durango regularly had the most number of cars by manufacturer in the A final, including 6 drivers in the  A final at the 5th round.

Team Durango China sent us these pictures from the Team Durango Cup held in Taiwan over the weekend of March 20/21.

“The race took place at a carpeted outdoor track; the weather was good and event had over 40 entries, with the majority of racers choosing the Team Durango DEX410.

First, second and third places in all three A mains were taken by DEX410s, as was the TQ spot. Team Durango China team manager John Ho finished the first leg of the A Final in 2nd. In the second leg he finished 3rd, and in the last leg of the A final he managed 1st place, which gave him overall 1st place and the title!

Well done John and thanks to all the racers who made it such a great event!”

“What an incredible victory for the reliability of the Team Durango DEX410 – winning a 24h hour race with almost no issues!*

With more than 4,300 laps completed, the winning DEX410 was over 130  laps ahead of the second-placed car and – wait for it – more than 1,000 laps in front of the last placed car!

- 2 shocks caps (TD330013) were broken after a heavy crash
- 2 screws came loose
- Spur Gear (TD 310020) wore out after 23 hours and 40 minutes (it took 15 seconds to replace it because of the DEX410s quick-release slipper design)”

Following the end of his contract to run LRP’s 1/8 scale racing buggy, Hupo Hönigl has decided to run the Team Durango DNX408 for the 2010/2011 season.
