Team Durango are pleased to announce the imminent arrival of the DEX410v3

This new model is an evolution of the previous DEX410 model and features parts that have been tested and proven by our Team Drivers over recent months.

Some of the new features on the DEX410v3 are:

Big bore shocks  - more consistent on rough tracks due to the larger volume of oil.

New ‘Kuhler’ Body – increased space inside the body and improved air flow to the electronics.

New RR suspension holder – allows the rear squat to be altered using composite inserts.

New ‘Fine Tune’ shock towers with finer adjustment for the upper mounting positions, and more rear camber link positions on the rear tower.

New HD Ball Ends used throughout – tighter fitting and less likely to pop-off during a collision.

14mm Hex hubs – new hex hubs and wheels provide stronger and more reliable wheel fitment.

Gold shock shafts as standard – super smooth Ti Ni coated shock shafts.

The MAP of this kit is $369.00, €241.18, £217.83 (excluding VAT)

Expected to be available mid September, please contact your local Team Durango dealer for further details of availability’

  2. @Josepe: I wouldn’t expect it. It’s clear Durango are keeping the spec up but making the car more cost-efficient (like removing the fun, exclusive but expensive alu sidepods). It’s a more balanced spec, a bit like the DEX410R, but higher in spec but without an actual big difference in price.

I love the car, though it leaves me with one question:

Will the DEX410R be stripped further to keep it attractive vs. a DEX410, or will it be discontinued?

  3. Looking great there TD, my question is will some of these new parts and thinking come over to the desc410r?

  4. Thank you so much for introducing the 14mm wheel hexes. The 1970’s hex and pin was a real PITA. With proper 14mm wheel hexes, we now have another tuning option with track width.

  8. Hi Vincenzo – you are free to purchase option parts seperately. The DEX410 V3 is a high spec race buggy already at a great price. There is no comparison.

  9. Hi TD.

Looking forward to the new car. Can the alloy parts (hubs, motor mount, side pods etc.) from the old 410 be used on this model?

Whats happened to these new “d-joints” or whatever they are called?

    Cheers

    Comment by dasbo — September 9, 2011 @ 3:45 pm

  10. @Vincenzo – new motor mount could mean running a 16 pinion is now possible.

@Dasbo – TD confirmed “d-joints” will be an option part available soon

  14. I’m new to team durango i have heard a lot of good reviews and i am wondering is the DEX410V3 going to be a race roller or a build from scratch model and if it is a build from scratch are there any phillips screws or just hex screws and whats the average size i will need to put it together

  15. hello, I am going to buy a 4wd 1/10 e-buggy. What has more upgrades on it the dex410 10′ spec or this v3. I know the v3 is cheaper than your 2010 spec version but i really don’t care on how much the kit is. Will this V3 be more up to date on upgrades than the 2010 Spec? Please help me decide between the two. Thanks.

  16. Finally i got my order in for the DEX410V3 and i cannot wait i have been doing a lot of research on what classes are in my area and what would be a good set up to go with I’ve been racing on carpet and now i wanna step up and in my research the v3 is a sick car i currently have some 10.5 setups in some of my other vehicles and i am wondering what would be the best motor and spedo set up I’ve realized that there aren’t many 17.5 class for 1/10 buggy its usually open or mod and i don’t want to start out racing and get dusted all day i am open to any suggestions on what turn motor would be best suited for me but still be able to keep it under control and if i do go with a low turn i will be dialing it down till i get more comfortable with the vehicle i am leaning towards a 6.5 to 8.5 turn but not to sure yet and what a good company is to deal with also for the esc I’m looking at a RS also the orion vortex still unsure but i would appreciate any info good or bad and if what I’m looking at isn’t right please let me know thanks
