Team Durango Clean Sweep At Broxtowe – Series Wins In All Classes

broxtowesnowmanfinalround

The hotly contested Broxtowe Snowman Winter series came to a truly ‘Team Durango’ conclusion last weekend with our dedicated team drivers winning all three classes across this six round series. Team Durango closed their hard winter race campaign by placing the following overall series results:

2WD

1st Ian Mellish – DEX210

2nd Richard Yeo – DEX210

4th James Ambrose – DEX210

4WD

1st Adam Skelding – DEX410v3

2nd Dan Austin – DEX410v3

3rd Anthony Potter – DEX410v3

4th Andy Wesson – DEX410v3

2WD Short Course

1st Jon Brook – DESC210R

The sixth round of this very popular winter race series was by no means a ‘walk in the park’ for the likes of James Ambrose, Andy Wesson and Dan Austin, who all represent Team Durango in the UK domestic off-road scene. Competition is always ferocious at Broxtowe. Many UK top off-road stars regularly grace the drivers stand at this all Astroturf track in Nottinghamshire. UK team manager Adam Skelding reported that he was extremely satisfied with how his team mates performed during this weather blighted series of races. Many of the previous rounds were raced during heavy snow fall and icy conditions.

The DEX210, DEX410v3 and DESC210R platforms have proven to be very consistent during the difficult conditions that the snowman series has presented. All of our team drivers have once again shown dedication and commitment that has assisted them in achieving a collection of very strong results. As the UK Team Durango drivers begin preparations for their 2013 summer campaigns, we are very confident that our winter efforts will allow us an even stronger starting point as we move towards the warmer months.
