DETC410 Wins BTCC 2013

Harper and Cosgrove Stamp Authority

Team Durango UK Touring Stars Elliott Harper and Ben Cosgrove have returned from the final round of the British Touring Car Championship victorious.

Both racers found blistering pace with the DETC410 Touring Car that included an overall TQ for Ben and a triumphant overall series win for Elliott Harper.

This final round of the prestigious series was held at the famous Mendip Raceway in North Somerset, UK. With early rounds being influenced by intermittent rain and high winds, both Team Durango racers reported that the DETC410 performed extremely well in both wet and dry track conditions.

Elliott found early pace-setting race form with a TQ of round one in qualifying. Ben added to this formidable DETC410 performance by taking TQ in round two of qualifying. The competition knew that Team Durango had arrived.

We send our congratulations to Elliott and Ben for a great performance at the closing round of this hotly contested Touring Car series. They are clearly very excited about the upcoming release of the DETC410 and share our philosophy every time they hit the track. Elliott Harper and Ben Cosgrove are ‘Serious About Racing’

Rossetti & Lantheaume Podium At French Nationals

Team Durango French stars Antoine Rossetti and Armand Lantheaume have returned from the French National Finals with two top podium finishes in the 1/10 2WD electric buggy class.

Antoine, who leads our French team drivers during their domestic race competitions, piloted his DEX210 to second overall behind his fellow DEX210 driver Armand who finished first.

Both drivers found that the rear three gear motor configuration was best for the loose dirt track conditions at the Gonfreville l’Orcher venue. This fifth round result gave Antoine an overall second in 2WD for the 2013 French National Championship series.

With Antoine just about to leave western France for the upcoming World Championships in California, we send our congratulations for his French National season results and our best wishes for the World Championship campaign.

Antoine Rossetti is fast on dirt, watch out for him and his DEX210 at the World Championships later this month.

Novotny Takes 1/10 and 1/8 Wins

Young Team Durango off-road star Kaja Novotny has continued his 2013 domestic campaign with two separate prestigious victories in the Czech Republic.

Kaja recently attended the popular Mibosport Cup for the fifth round of this highly competitive series. Kaja battled a collection of the fastest Czech drivers in 2WD and 4WD 1/10 off-road buggy to finish with a TQ and overall win in 2WD with his DEX210. He then went on to add a solid first place across all qualifying rounds in 4WD, to also take the overall win with his DEX410v3.

Kaja is already building a formidable reputation for winning in multiple racing classes across Europe. He further added to this already well acknowledged achievements by securing an overall win at the third round of the Czech 1/8 Nationals in Most. Kaja piloted his DEX408 during a tough battle for supremacy that included difficulties with his buggy electrics.

Kaja was able to shake off the gremlins and push for a convincing win, taking his DEX408 straight to another Czech National Series victory.

Kaja Novotny continues to represent Team Durango in Europe with strong track performances in 1/10 and 1/8 off-road classes. We send our congratulations to Kaja and his father as they continue to show the European off-road racing scene that Team Durango is ‘Serious About Racing’.
