Novotny Takes Triple Podium & TQ

Czech Team Durango racing star Kaja Novotny has returned from last weekend’s seventh round of the Lestr Cup with yet another clean sweep of all classes!

Kaja has continued his formidable recent track form by taking his DEX210v2 to victory and TQ honours in 2WD Buggy. Kaja then blasted through the 4WD Buggy class to take the overall win and TQ, with his DEX410v4. With the Short Course class left to run, Kaja made easy work of his rival racers as he flew to an overall victory and another TQ finish with his DESC410v2 Short Course Truck.

It was to be an truly conclusive set of victories for Team Durango in Prague, as Kaja also secured the fastest single lap in every class. This young man is getting faster every time he races with Team Durango products.

The event also catered for new-comers to the RC racing world, with Petr Vetesnik taking overall TQ and win in the Hobby Racer category with his DEX210. Proving the flexibility of the DEX210 platform in the hands of all ability levels.

We share our sincere thanks and utmost admiration for Kaja and his father Karel. Their current run of multiple podium wins, across various racing classes, should inspire us all.

Amezcua & Lutz Chi-Town Shootout Clean Sweep

Team Durango USA Pro drivers Travis Amezcua and Ryan Lutz have returned from last weekend’s Chi-Town Shootout in Joliet, Illinois, having won everything the event had to offer.

Travis was eager to re-visit the popular racing festival, having dominated the 2013 event with his Team Durango 1/10 Electric off-road vehicles.

He was rewarded with an overall win for his DEX210v2 in 2WD Buggy, an overall win for his DEX410v4 in 4WD Buggy, first place in the event’s famous ‘Dash for Cash’ race, and a joint first overall win in the newly added 30 minute Enduro race, partnered by team mate Ryan Lutz, again with his DEX410v4.

Ryan Lutz was really pleased to take second overall in both classes and added a TQ in 2WD to lock out the top podium finishes in style for Team Durango.

Travis was really happy with his Chi-Town Clean Sweep, and Ryan sent news that his DEX210v2 and DEX410v4 were perfectly suited to the fast and technical Leisure Hour Raceway track.

We send our congratulations to Travis and Ryan for another awesome weekend of racing with Team Durango.
