Durango 2wd prototype breaks cover & will be raced at the “Petit” event in Kent this weekend.
The thinking behind the DEX210 is to be the first car where mid & rear motor mounting is possible from the same car, ensuring Durango owners can be sure to have the ideal layout whatever the track.
Private testing has already been carried out with various gearbox configurations & motor locations, but as always Durango like to test properly before finalising the design so off to the Petit race Gerd goes with his hand made car.

I want to let the moment of inertia of the motor work with the 2wd off-roader of the mid ship layout.
Though I want to use the 3.5 – 4.5T brushless motor because the moment of inertia is strong, the gear ratio does not match with the 2wd off-roader such as X-6sq.
The 2wd off-roader with the high-speed brushless motor is too fast, and I cannot control it.
If the inside gear ratio is around 5 from 4,I can use the high-speed brushless motor for the 2WD off-roader.
I suppose that I can drive the 2wd off-roader using the inertia of the motor positively.
