Team Tech Tips – Diff Change – 210 Range

Master The Hybrid Technology Gearbox

The Team Durango patented Hybrid Technology Gearbox allows you to quickly change from running your 2WD vehicle in mid-motor, to a rear motor configuration. This unique Gearbox assembly is also specially designed to be used either with the kit specification Ball Diff parts, or with the optional Gear Diff, providing a wide range of track-surface-specific tuning options in minutes. Both Diff assemblies are designed to be used with all 210 vehicles in the range, including our Race Ready RTR kits.

Team Durango UK team driver Jason Ametrine, shows you how to quickly switch between the Ball Diff and Gear Diff assembly, making this process even easier with his clear and simple guide.

The Team Durango Ball Diff is perfect for track surfaces with low to medium grip, and is favoured when running your vehicle in rear motor configuration on dirt or clay.

The Team Durango Gear Diff is perfect for high-grip carpet, Astroturf or sugar watered clay track surfaces when you are running your vehicle in mid-motor configuration.

You will feel even more capable of getting the best performance from your DEX210, DEST210 or DESC210 kit after watching this really helpful guide.

Team Durango UK Take Broxtowe Winter Series

Team Durango UK racers Daniel Austin and Andy Wesson have recently returned from the final round of the Broxtowe Snowman Winter Series in the UK. Their championship finishing positions being first and second overall with the DEX410v4 in the 4WD Buggy class.

Broxtowe host a season-long off-road race series every year that is heavily attended by some of the regions fastest racing talent. The outdoor Astroturf track is known to be a difficult surface to master, but Daniel and Andy found no such issues, as they locked out the top two podium spots for Team Durango.

Short Course is a popular class during the Broxtowe winter campaign, and John Brook was happy to secure first overall with his DESC210, in a Truck final that saw the top five vehicles being the DESC210.

We send our congratulations to the Team Durango racers who have braved the cold and wet winter months to work towards a really great season closing-round of racing.

Daniel sent us the cool Team Durango montage above, showing some action from the series.

You can win with the DEX410v4, find out more here:
